| | Category 3 (Half Day Course) | This course covers all aspects of how to provide a firework display and is suitable for any person or group considering running and firing a Category 3 firework display.
The course introduces attendees to legal, regulatory, practical and safety requirements along with helpful guidance to firework display organisers.

| | Category 4 ‘Persons with Specialist Knowledge’ | The new Pyrotechnic Articles (Safety) Regulations 2010 define a minimum level of training that all professional fireworks operators will have to prove that they have undergone by 4th July 2013. This is defined as ‘Persons with Specialist Knowledge’ who have been trained by an established training scheme ‘recognised within the industry’. In general Category 4 firework training done exclusively by a company, for their own staff, is not considered to be adequate.
